This tall pitcher featured and hourglass shape and is decorated in alternating stripes of black, white and indigo slip. A spout is formed as part of the rim and both are lined with black slip. After bisque firing Akio applies colored slips and then glazes the pieces with translucent matte glaze. Beautiful to see and incredible to hold.
