Self-Centering with Reversible 5 Degree Pivot Pin Custom Pivot Pin Available on Special Order 3 Year Warranty
Our CRL Pinnacle 280 Series 180 Degree Pony Wall Mount Hinges are used in conjunction with the Pinnacle 180 Degree Glass-to-Glass Hinge for use with 180 degree pony wall applications. Previously， the tile or marble had to be cut to allow the wall mount hinge to be recessed. That adjustment aligns the pivot points between both hinges. To eliminate this time consuming step， CRL has produced these modified wall mount hinges with a shortened center block (containing only one centering spring)， and a small back plate (with only two mounting holes). This allows the hinge to be mounted to the surface of the tile or marble， and have it's pivot point match up with the glass-to-glass hinge pivot point above. Pinnacle Hinges are self-centering， and contain a reversible 5 Degree Pivot Pin. In addition， Custom Pivot Pins are available to accommodate "off angle" installations. Made of solid brass with all moving parts (pins and springs) in stainless steel.
Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each Pinnacle Hinge contains a Reversible Pivot Pin. One side of the Pivot Pin is marked at 90 degrees; the opposite side of the Pivot Pin is marked 85 degrees. Standard Pinnacle Hinges come with the 90 degree side activated， which brings the door to the standard closing position. Offset Models come with the Pin pre-set for 85 degrees (5 degrees tighter closure into the shower interior). The Pin can be rotated (not flipped upside down) to activate the other side.
Custom Pivot Pin: Custom Pivot Pins (Cat No.GENP1N are available to accommodate "off-angle" installations. If the standard 5 degree Pivot Pin contained in the hinge does not assist in closing the door to the position desired， you may specify the angle needed for a Custom Pivot Pin (up to 45 degrees). If using the Custom Pivot Pin， call our Technical Sales Department. Your glass sizes and the aesthetics of the enclosure may be affected by the use of the Custom Pivot Pin.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Glass Thickness: 3/8" to 1/2" (10 to 12 mm) tempered safety glass. There are 13 standard finishes， and custom finishes are available upon request. Templates specific to the Pinnacle 280 Series Hinges are packed in each box， or are available by contacting the CRL Technical Sales Department. Cat. No. P1N13 Gasket Pack must be purchased separately for use with 5/16" (8 mm) thick tempered glass.
CRL Shower Door Hinges are designed for residential or hotel shower use. If hinges are to be used for other than their intended purpose， approval must be obtained from the CRL Shower Door Technical Sales Department.Use only the template included with this hinge. Cut-out dimensions for CRL hinges may not match those of other brands.
