Product Description

Manufacturer Part Number: HE534635

Produced to the highest standards, Herpa diecast metal models are developed in collaboration with aircraft manufacturers and the airlines and are recognized by discerning model airplane collectors worldwide for their unparalleled, accurate realism, attention to detail and exceptional quality. True-to-scale, this Herpa 1/500 scale Kuwait Airways Airbus A330-800neo measures approximately 4-5/8-inches long with a 4-15/16-inch wingspan. A Display Stand is not included and is sold separately - Herpa HE521024. The twin engine, wide-body Airbus A330, which went into service in 1994, is currently the third most delivered wide-body jet after the Boeing 777 and Boeing 747 and goes up against the Boeing 767 along with shorter versions of the Boeing 777 and the Boeing 787. The - neo - version of the 330 series, the A330neo, which stands for New Engine Option, was developed at the request of the original Airbus A330 operating airlines, as it provides better fuel economy. Kuwait Airways was the launch customer for the Airbus A330-800neo, which went into service in late 2020. Although the same length as its predecessor, the Airbus A330-200, the Airbus A330-800neo is the shorter of the two A330neo variants.
